These modules can be delivered individually (half to one day each) or as a package (1.5 to 3 or 4 days), and in conjunction with more structurally focussed modules. Ideally, each is best delivered after at least a short consulting visit, so that rocks and data from your project are included in the workshop. Modules 2 and 3 can be built on the Alteration Mapping module
Module 1: Module 1 is a subset of the Alteration Mapping course. It is focussed on improving your capacity to recognise fluid conduits and their metal-carrying or precipitating capacity from hand specimens. You are shown how to turn this into a revised sampling strategy or methodology, or designing specific needs for geochemical work. Module 1 workshop notes download
Module 2:
Basic principles of what to do with geochemical data in conjunction with the rock observations of module 1. Module 2 workshop notes download
Module 3:
Placing the observations and data of modules 1 and 2 into the structural context, allowing you to connect your spatial/structural and geophysical datasets to the alteration observations and geochemical datasets. Module 3 workshop notes download
